The Lost Dev Team

   May 14, 2017

This was the Amnesia Fortnight community prototype that was my main project. I narrated the pitch for The Lost Dev Team, and created the art for the pitch video, along with Cheeseness. Anenome came up with the concept, and I was the project leader.

I hadn't posted about this when I posted about Amnesia Adventure, as this one had a nasty bug that would sometimes freeze the game if a character stopped too close to the edge. I managed to fix it, so it's now fit for public consumption. :)

This is a prototype for a puzzle platforming game inspired by games like The Lost Vikings, Gobliiins, and The Cave. This one had less contibutors than Amnesia Adventure, but the people who did contribute created some amazing stuff. The contributors (not counting myself) were: Anenome, flesk, Cheeseness, lightsoda, and kyle3wynn. This can also be downloaded from my itch.io page.

I once again give thanks to the contributors for all three Amnesia Fortnight community projects! We got three neat prototypes from it, and it was a lot of fun to work on. I hope that we'll be able to do something similar again in the next Amnesia Fortnight, if they have a public one again.

Oh, and incase you were wondering, the third prototype was Pongball. As I was super busy over the fortnight, I only contributed one song to this one, which was a slightly edited version of the "Dreamer Dog Funk" song from Dreamcat (I needed an outro song for Amnesia Adventure, so I used that song there as well). Pongball is a mix of pong and pinball, and it's lot of fun. :)
